Overview

Kathmandu is the capital and largest municipality of Nepal. The city stands at an elevation of approximately 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) in the bowl-shaped Kathmandu Valley of central Nepal. It is surrounded by four major hills: Shivapuri, Phulchoki, Nagarjun, and Chandragiri. Kathmandu Valley is part of three districts (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur), has the highest population density in the country, and is home to about a twelfth of Nepal’s population.

Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be received by our representatives and will be transferred to hotel. After checking into our rooms, we could relax at our own.

Early morning after breakfast drive to the second biggest city Pokhara (200km.) for 7hrs. It is one of the most picturesque spot of Nepal, enhanced by its lovely lakes Fewa, Begnas, and Rupa, magnificent views of five peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and others. This day enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and visit the temple in island “Tal Barahi Temple”, the goddess representing female power. Free time walk around lake side.

Early morning wake up and drive to Sarangkot(1592m.) the best sunrise and sunset view point. Enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains like Annapurna, Fishtail and others. Sight~seeing to the places as: Bindabasini temple the goddess representing guardian deity of the city, Davis Fall located on the southern bank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes, World peace Stupaa massive Buddhist Stupa, is situated on top of hill on the southern shore of Phewa lake. There are many more places to explore around Pokhara which will be scheduled as per your interest.

Drive back to Kathmandu. You can take rest either walk to local marker- Assan Street and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

After breakfast we drive to the Panauti for almost 1hrs. It is a historical city in Nepal. It is 36 km South-East from the capital city Kathmandu. It was a small state given by King BhupatindraMalla as dowry to his sister. Panauti, consists of a variety of Buddhist and Hindu religious monuments, and is considered to be one of the area’s most important medieval sites. Then drive to NamoBuddha (1982m)for 30 minute which is situated on hill above. There is an amazing legend related to the Buddha, which is commemorated by an ancient stone slab and a stupa with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.We then drive to Nagarkot (2175m.) through the pine forest along the ridge through the villages with splendid view of the valley and mountains. It is one the most panoramic destinations of Nepal for landscapes, mountain views including Mt Everest and magnificent sunrise and sun set view.

Early in the morning we would have sunrise view from the hotel. After having breakfast, we will drive to Bhaktapur durbar Square also known as Bhadgaun is also historic and culturally famous place with many temples among which the famous are Nyatapol, 55 Windows Palace, Golden Gate, Bhairavnath Temple, The Stone Temple of Batsala Devi and magnificent statue of King BhupatindraMalla. Sight seen: SwoyambuNath, also known as Monkey Temple is one of the most glorious Buddhists Stupa situated on a hillock about 77 m. above sea level of Kathmandu Valley and hence commands an excellent view of the valley. BoudhaNath is also Buddhist Stupa with one of the biggest dome in the world. PashupatiNath is a famous, sacred Hindu temple where one can see the cremation up close.

Drive to airport and depart to your home country.
