LUMBINI
Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, Light of Asia, which
was destined to be the prevalent religion in Asia. It lies in
southwest of Kathmandu just 300 kilometers away.
Buddhas teachings of existence of suffering and the way out of
the suffering are as applicable today and will be applicable in
future. Lumbini is of extreme archeological importance and also
a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. It is said that Prince Siddhartha
Gautam, who later became Buddha the Englightened One, was born
in the gardens of Nepal's Lumbini in 623 B.C. The main shrines
of Lumbini are the newly restored Mayadevi Temple, the Ashokan
Pillar behind the temple and the Lake Shakya Puskarini where Mayadevi
is said to have bathed before delivering the little Buddha into
the world. The other places to see are sacred garden,China temple,
Korean temple,The lumbini museum, Lumbini international research

Kapilvastu museum and many more.
You can either drive to Lumbini by bus or take a flight to Bhairawa
and drive about 23 kilometers to reach at Lumbini. Best accommodation
services are available there.
 
JANAKPUR
 Janakpur
is located 128 km southeast of Kathmandu, 11 hours by bus, next
to the Indian border. The pleasant town of Janakpur is the birthplace
of Sita, daughter of King Janaka and wife of Lord Rama. It is
said to be the site of Lord Rama and Sita’s wedding. Lord
Rama won Sita by picking up Lord Siva's bow and breaking it here.
Janakpur is charged with a devotional mood and is an interesting
holy city to visit. It is a worth while place to visit. Maithili
language is spoken here.
The places to see are Janaki Mandir (Temple),Ram Sita (Janaki)
Bibhaha (Viveh) Mandapa,Rama Mandir,Dhanush Sagar & Ganga
Sagar Tanks, Sankat Mochan Temple and Janakpur Railway, the only
one train in Nepal.
 MANAKAMANA
The famous shrine of Manakamana Devi lies in Gorkha district,
about 12 km south of the historic town of Gorkha. The shrine is
located on prominent ridge (1,302m) overlooking the river valleys
of Trisuli to the south and Marsyangdi to the west. The unique
location of the place is dramatized during winter when the ridge
appears as an island above the sea of morning mist. The spectacular
views from here includes deep valleys, terraced fields and snow
range of Manaslu-Himalchuli and Annapurna Himal. It is believed
that the wish of people is fulfilled when they visit Manakamana
Temple.
POKHARA
Pokhara is the major tourist destination in Nepal. It is 200km
west of Kathmandu, standing 884m above sea level. It is famous
for its natural beauty, panoramic mountain views, beautiful scenery,
peaceful lakes, caves, cultural heritages and many more. Stunning
views of Machapuchhare 6997m (also known as the Fishtail Mountain)
in Phewa Lake is the most recognized beauty of Pokhara. Peace
Stupa at the top of hill, sunrise view & mountain views from
Sarangkot hill are the unforgettable place to visit in Pokhara.
Similarly, the adventurous game paragliding from Sarangkot should
